It seems that Samsung is preparing a new Android device, the Gem, who recently appeared in a leaked roadmap for Verizon. The entry-level device is listed in the directory of a purchaser of Best Buy. The GEM is probably a cheaper alternative to the S-Series Galaxy buoys , which is due sometime in the next week or two at Verizon.

The buyer guide points to Android 2.1, and 3.0 with TouchWiz Swipe for the virtual keyboard. The handset has a 3.2-megapixel camera, GPS, Wi-Fi and a microSD slot.

Nothing on price yet though.

The Toshiba Folio 100 was shown at the IFA today. Folio 100 is an Android-based tablet that are about to launch.

Technical specifications that it has a 10.1 inch screen with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. The touch screen uses capacitive touch, and also supports multitouch.

Inside is an NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core chipset. A 1.3 megapixel camera can be found in the storage and 16GB. The version of Android running on the Toshiba Tablet is Android 2.1.

For wireless connectivity, 3G and Bluetooth and 802.11b/g/n. Ports are an HDMI output. A micro SD card slot can be found within.

Folio 100 the battery is good for about 7 hours on a single charge which is too bad for a 3G enabled ins't tablet.

Not much information is known about the release dates, prices or the tablet will be launched. We expect soon to hear more but the next few weeks.

We just would not expect this kind of earbuds from Sony, but apparently they are with their line of earphones and headphones in a new direction holiday. Sony's latest, the MDR-EX80LP Jienne Chic headphones, allows you to choose between 12 different colors and each comes with a Swarovski Zirconia design. The lead also matches the color too. This line is only available in Japan, but Audio Cubes is this for $ 49.99.
