New Ferrari 458 Italia – Adopting F1 Technology

Ferrari 458 series is the brand new Ferrari with mid-engine and two-seater design. A bit different from the previous ones, this Ferrari 458 is developed with Formula 1 racing efforts.  In order to support the idea of Formula 1 design, Ferrari 458 has a seven-speed-dual-cluth, a design which ever offered on F430 and 612 Scaglietti.

Another racing technology that appears is – as seen – in the electronic real differential, which already integrated with it’s traction control system. This design is claimed as able to increase the car’ speed up to 32% coming out of the corner.

The name ‘458′ refers to the engine type, it is a 4.5 liters V8, with inject system that will result to the fuel economy. Ferrari so far is actually never consider about the fuel economy, but the global awareness towards climate-change somehow has urged the company to go green and reduce it’s carbon dioxide emission.
