After Nikon and Canon have announced their latest wares, Ricoh has introduced its latest CX4 camera in Japan. The CX4 is a shooter with a backlit 10megapixel CMOS sensor and sports a 28-300mm lens. The new sensor-shift image stabilization function of the camera claims may be reduced by an average of 3.7 stops shutter blur. Other features of the camera include new filters can be applied to images (Soft Focus, Cross Process, Toy Camera), subject-tracking autofocus, and multi-shot mode. The CX4 will arrive in Japan on March 1909, though there was no question of pricing. It was not listed as Ricoh is planning to introduce cameras in other markets just yet.
