Toshiba Folio 100 Android Tablet
The Toshiba Folio 100 was shown at the IFA today. Folio 100 is an Android-based tablet that are about to launch.
Technical specifications that it has a 10.1 inch screen with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. The touch screen uses capacitive touch, and also supports multitouch.
Inside is an NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core chipset. A 1.3 megapixel camera can be found in the storage and 16GB. The version of Android running on the Toshiba Tablet is Android 2.1.
For wireless connectivity, 3G and Bluetooth and 802.11b/g/n. Ports are an HDMI output. A micro SD card slot can be found within.
Folio 100 the battery is good for about 7 hours on a single charge which is too bad for a 3G enabled ins't tablet.
Not much information is known about the release dates, prices or the tablet will be launched. We expect soon to hear more but the next few weeks.

Motorola Droid X Android 2.2 Update Unofficially Available
The Motorola Android Droid X 2.2 update has been leaked of what my Droid World Report.
According to the droid My World Forum, the update is actually a leak of an upcoming update to the ADA DROID X. Just posted this link provides all necessary instructions to run it, although you keep in mind that this is not an official update and you should read all the details and proceed with caution.
The update comes in the form of update.zip that you can copy to your memory card. It comes in the form of both an update and a firmware update to the baseband.
To the rest of the world is regarded as a leaked ROM, but Motorola is still a beta test that indicates it is not quite the final version. Basically test at your own risk

Android Cruz Reader and Cruz Tablet available to pre-order
The new Reader Cruz and Cruz Tablet are now ready for your pre-order. Shipping dates are 8-09 for the reader and September 27 for the tablet. Cruz Reader runs Google Android operating system and has built-in Wi-Fi and a full web browser, accelerometer, built-in dictionary, notepad, calendar, games and apps. It also features 256 MB of internal memory and a 2 GB SD card and comes with a battery for up to 10 + hours of use.
Cruz Tablet features a 7 "capacitive touchscreen, 4GB internal memory and an 8 GB SD card included.
The Reader is selling for $ 199, while the Tablet is $ 299.

Android Honeycomb Arriving After Gingerbread
We have already seen a few details about the next version of Android. This release will be codenamed Android 3.0 gingerbread . Gingerbread is a big step for Google [GOOG], which is believed to create a tablet version friendly.
Beyond that it believes that the version after that can be either 3.1 or 3.2, the name Android Honeycomb. TechRadar has been approached by several sources have confirmed that the next version will be Honeycomb. Not only is it yet known what those additions will bring the cake. What can happen with this version is a significant number of polishing the 3.0 release as optimizing for speed, making a few new features and creating a better experience. This would follow inline with what 2.2 did for Android 2.1.
In the past few releases Google updates Android is named after sweets and pastries. This stems from Cupcake, Donut, Eclair, Froyo, gingerbread and now Honeycomb. Notice how they all have to follow in the alphabet.
It is not known when it will launch honeycomb, but not cake until the end of this year, it would mean that we wont see Honeycomb for one year or what Google now is to delay the releases.
